Distribution to regional hubs
A STATEWIDE network including government offices and commercial
businesses will be used to more effectively distribute smartfarmer. A
detailed list of the regional drop-off points will be listed on the inside back
page of every edition. The new delivery arrangements provide the flexibility
to adjust deliveries as demand for the publication increases. Staff and
management are keen to receive feedback from readers and advertisers: if
you would like to see smartfarmer delivered in your area please contact us.
Our one chance to save
CHALK Hill Winery's Tom Harvey,
McLaren Vale, and Stephanie
Johnston, from the Southern
Community Coalition (pictured) broadly
support draft State Government
legislation to protect the McLaren Vale
and Barossa wine regions.
But they are determined to ensure the
development plan amendment and
proposed legislation tick all the right
boxes. "This is once-in-a-generation
legislation -- we have to get it right,"
Meanwhile, a final report on the
feasibility of making a bid for World
Heritage Status over a corridor of rich
agricultural land stretching from Clare
to the Willunga Basin -- and including
the iconic wine regions -- is scheduled
to be completed early next year.
