books used in the training of professional technicians.
This How-to-Guide is written and illustrated for
homeowners with a DIY attitude.
None of the timber in houses is below ground level.
Yet termites nd it because they do what they ve always done:
---forage above ground level where there is the most food.
It makes more sense to place TermiteTraps up where termites
are looking --- on the ground, on pavers and concrete slabs.
It is much more likely termites will nd at least one Trap before
they nd a way into your home. You won t have to dig holes,
they will be easier to check, they will cost you less.
Termite monitors set IN the ground are also found. But not as
easily and therefore not as quickly.
e bait you feed to termites attacking a Trap is not toxic to
humans, pets, stock or wildlife. You can also feed it to kill
termites busily working away in any timber in a structure. Our
How-to-Guide has all the practical, illustrated details.
Defend your home --- place a 'ring of TermiteTraps around it.
Put your Traps where the termites are looking
...on gardens, on pavers, over joints in slabs.
Easy to check... a glance as you walk past
Open hole? no action. Closed hole? Start baiting.
The most practical, illustrated guide
to killing termites and defending your
property... and it is FREE!!!!
Laboratory and eld trials have proven that on-ground monitors are
discovered sooner than monitors buried in the ground. e more Traps you
set out around your structures, the more likely and quicker you can expect to
intercept termite scouts. A mudded-up hole in the top lets you know at a
glance when they have arrived.
e design seems simple and the reasoning plausible, but the proof ? at is
in the thousands of property owners who have used TermiteTraps to
eliminate termite colonies that were threatening their homes and
out-buildings. e bait is exactly the same as used by the pest professionals
because it is safe to humans, other mammals, birds --- and it works!
Because the Traps are UV-protected, they are guaranteed for 10 years but
will last in the sun for maybe 20+ years. A er termites nd and attack the
timber inside and are successfully baited, the timber can be replaced and the
Traps reset. e original Traps can be re-used many times. You only buy bait
when you need it.
Left: the top view (with the lid open). The Trap sits on the soil, pavers or over
expansion joints in concrete slabs and paths. Right: the underside showing
how termites get inside and with minimum e ort, instinctively seal up the
bottom (and the hole in the lid) to make it their own environment.
there is more to eat above the ground than under it!
Because you'll want termites to nd monitors
before they nd your house, put them where
the termites go looking... above soil level
