MOTORCYCLE Parts an Gear
is a business at Nuriootpa
that became a Yamaha deal-
er at the start of this year.
It has been operating for four years
and grown significantly since its first
year in business.
The company started out in a 47-
square metre shop selling only acces-
sories, and stayed on in that location
for two years before it quickly out-
grew the premises.
It moved on to a larger shop, now
at 33 Railway Terrace, Nuriootpa.
After a year there, it was time to
expand again. This time, it decided
to take on a dealership, and chose to
go with Yamaha - a brand it consid-
ered to be the best in the market.
The formal launch of the Yamaha
dealership will be held on Saturday,
Motorcycle Parts an Gear stocks
more than 40 bikes in-store, includ-
ing Ag, ATV, SSV, competition,
enduro, fun, supersport, scooters,
and cruiser bikes.
Six staff members -- Zoe Harkness,
David Schiller (both half-owners),
Ben Schiller, Brad Schiller, Mel
Harkness, and Aaron Denys - keep
the business on track and their com-
bined work experience adds up to
more than 30 years.
All of them have been riding
motorcycles from a young age, and
have a big passion for the industry.
Motorcycle Parts an Gear is now
an authorised Yamaha service centre,
but provides services to other motor-
Workshop rates are competitive,
and customers appreciate its servic-

delivery and field service, and will
loan an ATV to a customer whose
ATV needs some mechanical work
done. Finance and insurance is now
The company says one of the best
things about Yamaha is that you can
come in store, buy a bike, and com-
plete finance and insurance works all
at the same time.
It takes pride in the fact that it is
large enough to meet all types of cus-
tomer needs yet small enough to
provide genuinely good service.
At the Yamaha dealership launch,
there will be a whole range of on-
road Yamaha demo bikes for anyone
with a bike license to try out,
sausage sizzle, heaps of bikes, and
plenty of giveaways.
Customers can choose from a big
range of accessories and parts, and
products not in store can be ordered-
