"Australians are opting for a
cheaper alternative to offset rising
power costs by purchasing Agrison
generators," Agrison Generators
sales manager Nick Yokus said.
Agrison's diesel generator sets
have the advantage of low mainte-
nance costs and ready fuel.
The generator range is fully com-
patible with biodiesel and comes in
sizes from 15kVA to 1000kVa.
Prices start from $5990 including
"Depending on the load, fuel con-

in high demand," Mr Yokus said.
Agrison is Australia's largest sup-

Showcasing Silvan's 50 years of
experience in the industry, the newly
developed Silvan 3000-litre TGS
Sprayer was presented on the stand of
GBC Motors, the local Silvan dealer,
that achieved the first two sales to
their local district clients.
The new sprayer requires a mini-
mum 55-kilowatt tractor, has a com-
pact tank, and an overall profile which
facilitates tight turns at row ends, par-
ticularly where there are tight head-

Key operator features
include a separate 205L

the pump, filter, spray lines
and nozzles after use. It
also has a 15L Polytuff hand
wash tank for operator safety.
The Silvan oil-backed nitrile
diaphragm pump has brass heads and
manifolds for a long working life.

Spraying product manager and
Silvan spokesman Gavin Wheatcroft
said that both the Sunraysia-district
buyers of the new 3000L TGS units
were earlier using single-row 2000L
"They could quickly see improved
efficiency both in their spray coverage
and the reduced application time by
spraying two rows at a time, so the
new Silvan 3000L TGS was a com-
pelling choice," Mr Wheatcroft said.
"Silvan's great ability as
leading horticultural spray-
ing specialists is to build
and spec vineyard sprayers
to suit a variety of applications
and scale that occur in both wine
grape and table grape vineyards
with a range of units now
made up of 2,000, 3,000 and
4,000 litre capacities."
