YEARLING sales are now in full
swing across Australia. It's
time to get out the sale cata-
ue, work through the detailed
pedigrees and try to select a future
Magic Millions will present a draft
of 418 lots at this year's Adelaide sale
at its Morphettville complex on
Many interstate studs have sub-
stantial entries with the largest offer-
ing coming from Eliza Park, Victoria,
but South Australia is well repre-
sented by 39 studs or agents. The
biggest SA contingents are from
Cornerstone Stud (formerly Lindsay
Park) with 27 entries, Ducatoon
Park, Kadina, with 14 and
Strathalbyn, with 13.
Mill Park, Meningie, is agent for
an impressive draft of 10 which con-
tains lot 120, a bay colt by Northern
Meteor out of Away With Fairies, a
winner and dam of five foals to race
-- all winners including the stakes-
placed Delusion, and lot 124, a
chestnut filly by Golden Slipper
winner Sebring from a winning Testa
Kambula Stud, Kadina, is offering
a total of 12, including eight on its

his 20th year, has 10 entries.
There are 26 first-season sires rep-
resented, including Darley Stud's
Authorized (IRE), New Approach
(IRE) and Teofilo (IRE), all
Champion two-or-three-year-olds in
Europe in their respective years.
Coolmore has Duke Of Marmalade
(IRE) and Henrythenavigator (US)
Champion SA Sire for 2011 and the grand old man of South Australian
thoroughbreds, Blevic, now in his 20th year, is represented by 10 yearlings at
